Manners cost nothing. Some people on fab are so rude and disrespectful to some of my fab friends especially my single female friends. I often hear this and have read messages sent to them.

Guys please be polite and respectful. You would be surprised how far it will get you instead of been vulgar.

Tottaly agree nothing but 100% is required to everyone and by everyone. I’ve had both women and couples be rude to me and it’s not nice. I’ll live.

But I think if your a single woman it’s particularly unacceptable.

Be nice people!

While I tend to hate the White Knight phrase, it's hard to support women when that gets thrown at you, but I tend to agree in this case.

1. Generally the guys that you have to tell to be respectful are usually the ones that won't heed the advice. Waste of time.

2. As said its a great filter!

I can't help but see the irony here. If anyone should be bothered by "white knight"s it's women. Personally I agree the OPs post is likely pointless as those who send messages like he is referring to won't read it. However, that doesn't make it white knighting.

I would disagree there too. I'd say it's true for a small minority of men. Fab just happens to attract a lot of those types.

Good point. Not saying it is, just it seems like it. As I say I hate the general basis behind white knighting (be called out on it), especially when it gets to the point that offering any support or agreeing with women is branded white knighting - not just by other men but women too.

But when little things like this pop up (however well meaning) that are as good as needless it often seems like it is for the sake of gaining points or an easy way to appear chivalrous, Generally enforcing the term.

Because of course, why else would a man agree with a woman other than to get laid!?

However, women don't need defending from actual white knighting. We have brains of our own. It's honestly best left ignored. It just always annoys me how it's mostly a bunch of men calling others a white knight and it makes me wonder what their intention is because if it's to protect women from the white knights then that bloody hilarious as that's like fighting white knights by being a white knight.

I'm speaking from my own experience of men both on and outside of fabs. It's my truth and my opinion is valid. As far as I am concerned it doesn't matter how much it's sugar coated when men want sex they will say and do anything.

I didnt say your truth wasnt valid and I didnt mean to have a dig though it did come across that way. I would have preferred if you had said something like "in my experience with the men that I've come across" then it wouldnt have sounded like a generalisation. That said, you gave your opinion on a topic and it's great that you did

OP......you are just highlighting an issue, that to you, is something that really really bugs you!! I know it does because we often talk about this. Having known you for a long while now from the club scene and beyond, you have shown nothing but respect to everyone and expect this from others (as most humans do). True gent in all honesty.

I have personally shown you messages from dickheads that have shown no manners, respect or civil tongue and I have dealt with these said knobheads in my own way. Some are worse than others and many are quite frankly unbelievable. I know Fab is a sex site and we should expect some level of low down smut etc but OP is right, manners don’t cost nowt!!

I’ve got to add in though that the percentage of crap us single ladies (or gents) get from the opposite gender is usually very very low. Most of you are very respectful which is appreciated.

We are all entitled to our own opinions and the forums are usually a good way of voicing these. As individuals these opinions may differ slightly from others because at the end of the day we are all human. People forget about these differences.

OP is not ‘white knighting’ as the post has been labelled, he’s sharing his opinion, his thoughts and his moral compass.

I agree.

It's like most men come on here thinking because it's a naughty site that they can become some online persona and all the deep dark thoughts they kept locked away come out and they all turn into some ruthless perverts.

I've experienced it, as a bi guy I have had men say stupid stuff to me. But I will say I have experienced rude females as well.

It's the same in life, some people just are rude. Being online just emphasizes that.

Personally I show respect to everyone, unless someone becomes disrespectful to me. Then I walk away.

There’s actually something that spurred mr nice to write this (not from me I might add) but, in addition, we co-hosted a couple of socials where only my pics and details were on the profile and he has seen first hand a small percent of the cringe worthy things I have to put up with on a daily basis. Any of you that have met MN will know that he was genuinely bothered by the shit I was receiving (we are very close friends, I’d be upset if someone was nasty to my friend) so I can deffo say he’s not ‘white knighting’.

We all see it on the forums there’s at least one or two names on this thread that I can’t abide the posts of because I can’t decide if they are A)trolling for fun or B)just absolutely devoid of social manners.

I also agree with the fellas that have said that women are rude in their replies, I’ve seen this too.... both in defence of a vile message and, sadly, just unnecessarily.

I will admit that I’ve unarranged and blocked a meet for this weekend as his messages were getting increasingly crude and disrespectful. I did tell him why I wasn’t interested anymore.

I do think The people that are especially crude/rude though are the instashag tribe that won’t get far in the community because, imagine inviting them on a group holiday or something and they acted like that. They’d have their bags packed for them and a taxi rang back to the airport!! Haha.

To summarise. Niceness does get you places and meets. If you more enjoying being a beggar or a troll then good luck with your pointless messaging. People I this lifestyle talk... particularly the ladies.

"If single woman want to come on here and talk act like something they are not there asking for what they get.

Show me some manners and you get them back

Ah yes, curse those women who who refuse to be treated like a cum bucket.

Those women are the worst "

I know, prick teasers!

On a serious note, I do get more abuse from men but I've had it from couples and single females too.

I think it comes from a good place but i'd wager that the 'foul mouthed' messagers are not forumites so one might as well piss in the wind. A bit like me sticking a do not ring the door bell on the inside of my house.

Just for the record. I have impeccable manners.

This isn't even a manners issue.

I don't find , ' Do you take it up the arse please and thankyou.' any better than 'Do you take it up the arse.'

Both are unwelcome. One is not more polite than the other.

Manners are not the answer.

I for one will apologise for misguaging the intent of the OP

And genuinely retract the knight and virtue comment

However

Some humans are vile very putrid of mind both Male and female

It is commendable and my shared perspective that it would be fantastic if everyone were naturally respectful

However they are not and therefore I stand by my sentiment that

Why would you want vulgar disrespectful men to pretend to be otherwise

Let them be let them be blocked

It's a good filter ?

Meaning some of the most sad abhorrent incidents I have heard from other members would be where the first messages and contact are utter sweetness seductively well mannered

Until the true mrs or mr hyde appears after which pure venom and bile flood from the true heart of the manipulative deceitful creature

I'll re iterate

OP I'm sorry I misgagued your OP

I do not condone endorse or commend poor manners or etiquette

I however do not think these people should be persuaded to temporarily hide their true nature

There are good tools to deal with the blunt erm tools

I wish peace and harmony

I dont think it can or should be enforced

Why is it white knighting when a man says something like this? It’s not a crime to be nice.

Crude or vulgar messages are simply a delete from me. Just don’t read them, it’s not worth your time or effort

"Manners cost nothing. Some people on fab are so rude and disrespectful to some of my fab friends especially my single female friends. I often hear this and have read messages sent to them.

Guys please be polite and respectful. You would be surprised how far it will get you instead of been vulgar."

OP, I agree with you that many guys here are very rude with women, particularly when they are rejected.

However, I must say I also have found many couples that, being in an advantaged situation towards men, they are quite arrogant and egocentric.

Yes, this is what it is but as you said, manners cost nothing.

"

Thank you this is what we were talking about in the club a couple of days ago. It's nice to be nice and I'm not a white knight just saying it from a ladies perspective I think my veris speak for themselves x

I've not done this post as an attention seeking one. It's just that there's a few who I know personally on this post that get disgusting messages all the time. There's just no need for it in my opinion. Some people can be so rude and can't take no for an answer. I guess I do better than most single guys on fab and that's because I try to be polite and respectful at all times and don't think about the people on fab as a peace of meat and treat them as an equal with good manners. For all the haters keep going it only shows your true colours and let's the nice guys get the meets. In the two years I've been on fab 200 plus veris can't be wrong x

You don't think that's the case or are you just one of those that don't see it that way? Because I don't view disagreeing as such, but you just have to judge people the reactions of some to know that they view disagreement as being rude. I don't just mean here, just in all walks of life.
