No, it does make me think Brexit may protect us from the economic damage that Coronavirus will do to an already crippled Italy though. It's going to hit their economy hard and drag the euro down with it.

Nope, but it's a good story. Influenza is killing more people. 250,000 were hospitalized last year with it, no one batted an eye as its the norm.

Nope I’m off to Singapore to chill out for a bit soon.

I’m not going to let it stop my plans.

"Does this make peeps think about not travelling abroad ?"

It's very much cancelled my trip to Hong Kong and Shanghai/Beijing for the Chinese Grand Prix in April.

The event has been 'postponed' although I can't see how it can be added back into this year's race calendar, and the Virgin Atlantic flight into Shanghai has been cancelled.

No monetary loss as my other flights and hotels have been refunded, but the loss of business in all three locations will be extremely damaging to the local population.

Think of the 2002 Bali night club bombings and the delay in economic recovery there.

The effects of this infection is going to be 100,000 times worse.

I'm off to Italy soon. Fingers crossed there will be a lock down in the village....no work and an extra 4 weeks of nice weather!! What's not to like?

Last time i was there i caught swine flu, bird flu, SARS, zika, mad cow disease, ebola and an ingrown toenail.....that shit bought me a year in Sienna....epic!

On a mooch

Definitely not, two weeks and I’m out of here

The only thing that would stop me, is if that country closed its borders or our Government advises not to travel there
