If sexually, you’re dominant, are you dominant in your day to day life?

If sexually, you’re submissive, are you submissive in your day to say life?

If you’re a switch, the fuck?

There and to the left a bit

Someone very wise once said to me:

"I don't think a person's sexuality has any bearing on their character or behaviour"

And it's true, submissives aren't all cowering wrecks, and dominants aren't all strutting chest beaters - it's something inner that defines a dominant or a submissive

I'm very submissive in the bedroom, but not at all in every day life.

I think one of the reasons I am submissive is because it's a release from the every day control you have to have in life.

Personally I know I’m a switch in both, I have a dominant position at work but can appear submissive at times until the wrong button is pushed.

I’m tall and have presence so in the bedroom I naturally take a dominant role, but when my kinky mind button is pushed I become very very submissive and would literally do anything in the hands of a strong mistress that likes to take control.

That’s been my experience. I can understand sexual submissives who lead very demanding life’s, as a form of release I get that, but I can’t understand the switch mindset or a male Dom who is a beta in real life just doesn’t seem authentic.

Some, but by no means all of the women who identify as submissive, or have strong submissive tendencies who I have played with have tended to have pretty high-powered, managerial, or senior positions. Whether that means that they’re ‘dominant’ IRL, I’m not so sure, but there’s often a sense of stress-relief at play where they can hand over their day-to-day responsibilities to someone else. As someone who floats up and down the D/s spectrum as it appeals to me, with fun and laughter being top of my priorities, that pretty much matches my day-to-day inclinations, so go figure.

La la land

I'm naturally submissive in all aspects of life. For me personally it helps to have one person to direct my submissiveness towards, so that I can be more assertive in work for example.

I'm a very Dominant character in life. I'm a boss. A bitch. But for the right man I'm an extreme submissive. It's a massive release from day to day life. There's nothing more satisfying than the release if ones mind, body and soul. To think nothing just to feel. I need it and crave it.

Many just think oh she's a slut...yes but not just any cunt can tell me what to do

I'm submissive but in day to day I'm the opposite. I love being in submissive zone as it's the time that I can totally switch off and let someone else do the worrying

Very strong in everyday life. But i like to let go of that in the bedroom (or dungeon) I think that's part of the appeal to me tho I'm not a classic sub type. Too god damn stubborn to call any one master.

I see that too. If Mrs has had a demanding , challenging day, she loves me to male all the decisions, choose her outfit , makeup , order the wine and choose her meal and give orders of kink that must be obeyed.

But there’s no way after a tough day I’d enjoy someone doing anything that ! I get even more alpha, hit the 24hr gym for release come back and want to tie her up and do unspeakable acts !!!!!!

I'm very strong in normal life ( my colleagues call me Ice Queen). I wouldn't actually call myself submissive, but in the hands of the right person I'm masochistic ...as others have said, it's a release from the pressures of work and everyday life, a time when I can switch off completely and focus only on the physical sensations.

I am submissive sexually. In normal life, I am neither normal nor submissive. I don't go hard on anyone. At the same time, I don't let anyone go hard on me without valid reason.

I think the research is 60-70% of women fantasise about being submissive , dominated and even taken w/o consent by a stranger. How much translates into reality no idea as it takes the right partner. Pretty sure it’s biological. I would think much fewer men have those fantasies

I'm a Dominant sexual but I'm empathetic, emotionally intelligent and a good communicator. Not the first thing that springs to mind when you think of a Dom but I would say this qualities are essential.

Most of the women I've subbed have very important, busy and powerful professional lives. Giving yourself over to a Dom takes all the decisions and responsibilities away from you - which many find very attractive

After having D/s sexual relationships I believe the reasons for a a woman or man to choose to be submissive are both to behave the opposite of normal life but also to take ownership of some previous experiences in life.

To choose a position that was once forced on them for some it does seem to empower them.As for the reasons to be A Dom they are equally various some even abusive but for me it's not about being Alpha it's about a relationship based on trust and connection to have the emotional intelligence to read the responses of your actions and act accordingly.Primarily D/s interaction is about open communication and acceptance of kink
