Exactly this, exercise or a drive. Music works too but I generally find my mood drives my music choices which can also keep me in that mood if that makes sense

M- Going for a run helps a lot. If it’s anger frustration then it’s the fortnightly trip out to play airsoft and shoot people legally.

C- forgetting everything with a decent programme, doing some cross stitch.

Otherwise we both paint miniatures and that clears the head for a while.

God we sound fecking boring lol. Honestly we’re not.

Sounds really sad, have done it from a really young age, but I put music on and write down how I perceive that song.

It’s amazing in open water, I love that when you swim out from the beach and leave all the noise behind or in a lake, perfect

Going outside and sitting in my garden watching the birds at the feeders and birdtable. Helps a lot specially when the tame blackbird I have visits for her mealworms/sultanas.

Writing down what matters to me is a good way to things off my chest, out of my head and if its not there, I ain't going to be worrying about it.

Changed to this last year after a health issue and is working so far.

Running, hiking, the gym. Being away on exercise with the army too, you don't have any comms with the outside world so life gets quite simple keeping your kit in order and having banter with the lads. I usually come back tired but feeling good
