...Getting ready for a meet or event? It just occurred to me as P is running around me panicking as we're due to set off for a party in 4 hours, how much prep time actually goes into it, disregarding buying clothes, underwear, condoms and other supplies equipment, how long would you spend on washing/grooming/dressing/etc?

Personally my quickest time is probably half an hour for a spur of the moment meet years ago, but I'd say I'd be comfortable having 2 hours to fully get ready. P probably needs between 6 and 8 hours, the main difference being hair obviously!

What about everyone else?

My hair takes ages to dry & straighten & if it needs colouring too that’s a good 2/3 hours. Make up takes a while as I need a lot of it

Don't understand how some of you can do it so bloody quickly!

See I keep on top of my grooming, but even being a bloke I need to freshly cut nails, make sure there's no sharp edges, trim and edge facial hair, brush teeth and use stain remover/floss, freshly shave body, pubic edging, veet, shower of course, moisturise, scents, dress, make sure I've got all the right supplies and scarper!

How the hell anyone could fit that into 10 minutes for example I have no idea!

If it's a friend (one I'm super comfortable with and am not making any fuss for - you know I like you if I show up with no makeup!) half an hour.

If you're seeing the fussier version, 2-3 hours (although some of that is earlier prep work).

P'd list is astronomical, but her hair will take over 3 hours alone AFTER SHOWERING just to dry and style? Though tbf she can sit on it and it's probably thick enough to do a Rapunzel with too?

In terms of getting ready, normally about a hour plus the hour at the hairdresser. If I'm going full out I make a proper occasion of it and listen to music and bop about so a few hours.

Assuming I'd already showered I could be ready to see a friend in 15 minutes.

But I enjoy all the prep if I'm going somewhere smarter, on a date, to a club. Probably two hours tops though (including shower, nails etc) - with a drink and some music to keep me company!

I don't colour my hair on the same day as a meet, otherwise I would need ages.

I ideally like 2 hours for a club night or meet, so I have time to shave everywhere I want to and decide what to wear.

I can get ready for a night out in under an hour, if I already have an outfit planned.

Hubby needs about 30mins from start to finish.

Putting on makeup is what takes a fair chunk of the time. I don't wear it regularly, so make mistakes and don't do it quickly.

Well I'm ready first and the bathroom has been free for a while. That's all that matters in the end.

To be fair I had my first shower this morning to hair wash, then I veeted my lower half. See, if I was to get waxed then getting ready would take far less time, but I don't. I want to be the silkiest of silky smooth so I let myself Chewbacca up for a fair few days (this time has been a week so my legs and toes were mega hairy. Imagine a Hungarian Puli. Google it (breed of dog)

I have super thick hair, it's like having 2 normal peoples hair, seriously if I have my hair in pig tails it's the equivalent to the average ladies full head pony tail. So yeah the end result may be mint, but it takes some drying!

So I have at least 2 showers. One for head hair, and one closer to the time for body hair and butt hole surgery, erm, cleaning. I do like to leave a window in case I react badly to the shower gel or veet. I have sensitive skin.

Then make up and all that shiz which doesn't take too long. But again, I allow for cock ups and having to start over.

I just don't like being late, it grieves me and I think it's rude.

2/3 hours at least for a regular meet with Sir, shave, shower, moisturise, hair done, make up then dressed. Hate rushing and like to be specific for inspection

Under the Duvet

"I really hope men read this thread and go wow. Maybe I should stop bitching about having to take 10 minutes to shave my balls.

Never bitched about that in my life . I've also never needed 10 minutes to shave my balls...

I honestly have no idea how long it takes to shave balls. Just thought ten minutes sounded good. "

Mmm, would that be an even 5 minutes per ball or maybe a 7/3 split if one ball is bigger than the other, I wonder ?

.

"Oh it's tonight! I hope you both have a fucking amazing night, I'm excited to hear how it goes.

In terms of getting ready, normally about a hour plus the hour at the hairdresser. If I'm going full out I make a proper occasion of it and listen to music and bop about so a few hours.

Are you including the part where people come and bother you in your time? Because I can guarantee it's longer than an hour if you are lol xxx"

How could I forget that? Add an extra ten minutes on (I'm being generous). xx

Especially for a first time meeting I take bloody ages. I'll have been doing bits and bobs all week before - eyebrow threading/tinting, nails, nairing, exfoliating/moisturising etc and then pretty much all day beforehand getting actually ready. I like it though, getting ready is part of the fun.

"I heard you were slow getting your ass in gear B. "

I was spruced and ready for the arrival of our pick up, even had time for a couple of pics beforehand? So one shouldn't listen to fibs...

And just noticed the compliment Diamond C, ta very much!

Glasgowish

It never takes me long as wash my hair and organise clothes the day before. This means on the day its a bath and a little make up only to do so probably takes me 30mins.
