Ok, someone (mentioning no names hehehehe) has mentioned this to me today...now i had no idea what it was so was told to look it up....after a quick "google" I came up with the following.....

pinwheel cookies, with their swirls of light and dark doughs, are doubly appealing and look great wrapped as a gift! The dough needs to chill awhile before you bake it, but the final product is well worth the wait.

Now Im pretty sure we were not swapping recipe tips!!

When I dated this American guy years ago, he once made what he called Pinwheels. Thin slices of stake wrapped around steamed pepperd spinich yummy, served with rosemary potatoes and a rich creamy garlic and mushroom source. Delish lol X
