Insects?

Just watching a Heston programme where he is making insects tasty.

Such as stuffing meal worms with a garlic mayo etc...

Could you make yourself eat it or would just one look make you want to

I eat with my eyes I don't think I could try anything that doesnt look how I expect so there is no way I could eat insects

I’ve tried quite a few insects and I have to say I think we should eat more. For most people it’s a mental block but if you didn’t know what a snack contained you’d never guess. Meal worm is peanutty, worms dried and ground taste of nothing when added to soups. Just don’t watch A bush tucker trial!

Eaten fried insects whilst working in Africa and monkey and frogs and snails here in France so I say don’t knock it til you try it.

I have done. Someone brought a forfeit game to work once...the forfeits were eating dried insects. They're not something I'd choose over more conventional food, but they weren't that bad.

I did a fake 'bush tucker' trial once from Iceland....it wasnt even the bugs...it was stuff to look like the bugs and even then I had a mental block and just couldn't and kept gipping
