We go to the cinema quite often.

What have you seen recently and what are go no goes?

"Has anyone seen Brahms? "

No. Seen trailers and it looks too scary for me.

Me to but it's the only thing she wants to see. She's only 14 so I was hoping that someone would of seen it to tell me whether it is as creepy as it looks and therefore unsuitable for her!

Have a look IMDb, there is a section that tells you this kind of thing

I'm going to be a total girl and go and see Emma over the weekend. I'm a sucker for a costume drama!

I thought so. Quite Shakespearian .... very comic tragic...... Don't know why but I didn't expect sub titles. It didn't detract from the film though. In fact in enabled the concentration on actors expressions. The acting was superb.

The story was so layered. I changed my mind about what it was about several times.... I changed sides so many times. On the surface it appears to be a simple story but as it progresses over time it's clear that it is far from simple. Thought invoking doesn't come near.

How to make one long continuous shot?

I've studied ww1 for years and years. I saw it and felt let down by it. Don't get me wrong the sets are superb but the acting is wooden and there are so many true stories that defy belief and would have made a better story.

Poor taste.
