Tell them in 20 years time they'll find out all the messing about in labs creating burgers, sausages & nuggets that look like meat, is actually killing them prematurely. It's bound to happen. If it makes the food industry lots of money short term, they won't care what it does to people long term.

You might have something there. I did start by eating meat replacments and cheese replacements but when I looked what's in pre prepared stuff it's vile.

I stick to un processed.

Beef, includes the worst culprit to the degrading of our eco system. Also are pumped full of antibiotics which damages your immune system and also means sooner or later anti biopics won’t help anyone in the future because of injecting it in dairy and meat continuously. As well as the un required murder of a living thing on a mass scale. Meat eating was never meant to be a daily thing. Was meant to be a way to feed in winter climates when you can’t eat from the land.

If it didn't burrow in you wouldn't have figs, it's the wasp that turns them in to figs, so aren't vegan

'Vegans, as far as practicable, should avoid eating any animals or animal products. The way some varieties of fig are pollinated means every edible fruit of some fig varieties contain at least one dead wasp – so by eating a fig, you are eating a dead insect. So far, so not vegan'

Vegans forget that human being are also part of the animal Kingdom.

So if they can't eat honey because it's made from collected nectar from flowers, how come it's ok to eat rice gathered by exploited children in Pakistan for example?

Double standards or just an impossible to achieve lifestyle? Either way, there's no such thing as a vegan.

Makes me laugh when I read such uneducated posts. Neither beef nor dairy are ‘ pumped’ full of antibiotics.

Spoke too a veterinarian the other day regarding the dangers of antibiotics becoming ineffective in people due to their use in cattle, he was very clear to me that the biggest danger is from the inappropriate use of antibiotics in people by people.

"Vegan Burger.

Ingredients;

Water, Soy Protein Concentrate, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavors, 2% or less of: Potato Protein, Methylcellulose, Yeast Extract, Cultured Dextrose, Food Starch Modified, Soy Leghemoglobin, Salt, Soy Protein Isolate, Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Zinc Gluconate, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Sodium

Beef Steak.

Ingredients;

....Beef.

Since when is beef pumped full of antibiotics?

Makes me laugh when I read such uneducated posts. Neither beef nor dairy are ‘ pumped’ full of antibiotics.

Spoke too a veterinarian the other day regarding the dangers of antibiotics becoming ineffective in people due to their use in cattle, he was very clear to me that the biggest danger is from the inappropriate use of antibiotics in people by people. "

"So do vegans spit or swallow?

Didn't think they liked meat in their mouth.

Might be the case LOL

It's a genuine question, I have no clue, I can only imagine they must spit as it is an animal lifeform

It's not though. It does have the potential to become one but jizz on its own is not able to become a living life form. "

You are right I think but it is still animal based (twin cell walls etc) isn't it?

It's academic anyway, we'll all be dead from the corona virus before long anyway Mum always did say drinking too much pop was bad for me

Oh and then I think it depends on if it was given willingly with conscious thought etc

"Vegans forget that human being are also part of the animal Kingdom.

So if they can't eat honey because it's made from collected nectar from flowers, how come it's ok to eat rice gathered by exploited children in Pakistan for example?

Double standards or just an impossible to achieve lifestyle? Either way, there's no such thing as a vegan.

Well there is....... People should read and digest the 'as far as is possible clause' ......

We can't go round not eating plants in case a mouse died during harvesting ..... so let's be sensible about it.

I don't think vegans eat kids "

Yet if all animal life is equal, then if one person skips a glass of water but eats a cow, then they've eaten less animals.

See - vegan is a myth, an ideological standard that cannot be met.

Veganish it the correct term.

No such thing as a vegan except as a hypothetical term.

I'm more vegan that my vegan daughter and I eat meat.
