on msn warning

Has any one had an e mail on msn asking you to go to see whos blocked you on msn.

if you do get one dont open it it is a worm

it will say it is from some one you know

it will then re-send its self to every one on your list

yes and msn are working on removal as we speak, but apparently is a deeply embedded worm,

yes we had it here but just deleted it without opening it

if you have inadvertantly opened it you can clear it by deleting msn messenger and reloading apparently, and thats from microsofts help team, it stops it sending any further mails to your contacts list, all i can say is that if you are tempted to open it and see who has blocked you then your very insecure indeed or very nosey lol

No you can make a backup to the pc before you delete and then re-install.

Look on the options buttons under the msn.

had that mail sent to us on a number of occasions and each time it gets deleted without being opened.

nice that I run linux as that worm has no affect, it buries itself in all the windows code, bill gates has a lot to answer for, plus I use a plugin which allows me to have my msn on mirc which I use constantly, linux has very little viruses or worms as it is too difficult for coders to circumvent the linux OS, if your fedup of windoze you should try linux, its free as its open source, try the live cd and decide after that if you want to install it and say bye bye to viruses and worms.

I'd still be careful even using Linux, if your using wine or other software to run microshite code you are at risk from viruses an worms intended for windoze.

I run Linux and use kopete if I want to get onto messenger
