Watching the News 24/7 ?

Sitting in a darkroom for hours on end ?

Winning a sports event?

Or having great sex?

Threads I participate in tend to be like parties - loads of people socialising and enjoying themselves, while I stand in the corner by myself.

Why can’t you?"

Because in most social situations it's as much as I can do not to just leave.

That is not an uncommon feeling, my friend, and one that occurs in this household too. Join in with whatever you're comfortable with.

Well leave then if you’re not enjoying it.

You seem to thrive on negativity.

In all the time I’ve been on here, probably about 6 years, you have constantly been negative about everything.

Why?

It must be so bloody draining for you but I’ve seen no attempt by you to change anything.

That's really not good enough, though, is it? Anything than plunging in with both fret is rude, unfriendly and makes people uncomfortable. You're not allowed to be shy or awkward or anxious, that's just being selfish. I've had that in writing.

Southport / Ellesmere Port

Fab threads are like football, one minute you are so happy, jumping about because people are engaging happily and then VAR rules it out for offside based on half a centimetre of a left toe and it all goes downhill after that

It's called depression. I'm sorry you find my suffering so inconvenient.

I stay because I'm TRYING to do better, but nothing I do is ever good enough. I'm negative because it's all I know.

I've just read your profile and you have stated clearly how you feel sometimes and what you go through. As someone earlier said just do what you are comfortable with, and I add what you can do.

The ones I participated in most seem to descend into orgies, so we'll go with the sex.... Now, where did I leave my knickers? *wanders off*

Nothing I do is ever good enough - who said that?

The only person who can make you better is yourself.

Nobody is asking for perfection.
