Man I love a cup of coffee and usually have it black with a touch of sugar, but sometimes find when abroad that there are coffees where you don’t need sugar in them as you get are so smooth.

What type of coffee do you like?

Was that an offer of coffee?

What brand do you go for though?

We have just started grinding beans for the cafeterie. We tend to go for Columbian or Ethiopian blends which are mid strength. White, no sugar

I get roast and post from a speciality supplier from home. There are a few indie places I rate in Manchester.

I wish I liked it. I went to Costa Rica and feel like I missed out. But it's just not for me sadly.

No sugar, touch of milk or a cappuccino.

Cant stand cheap instant coffee or that powdery taste, or bits still floating, and NEVER in a stained cup that looks as though it's never seen clean water. YUK!

OP, try swapping out the sugar for a touch of honey when at home. Smoothness upgrade, I promise.

Ooo I love a good coffee. My fave is Nicaraguan beans roasted in Wales and served using a fabulous machine at my local cafe.

At home in my cafetiere I just use asda Italian house blend coz I've no chance of making anything that special without an expensive machine.

I only discovered coffee age 38.

For us it's as much about the ritual of making the coffee as it is about drinking it.

We like drinking coffee Turkish restaurants for that reason

Dubai & Nottingham

Just bought a load of bourbon coffee beans in Rwanda, Lake Kivu, it’s one of my favourites but I think blue mountain is the best. We freeze them as beans quickly and grind from frozen with electric grinder and then put through aeropress

Absolutely love my coffee, would give up alcohol before coffee.

Bought a full blown commercial espresso machine off ebay a few years ago for a good price then last year got a doserless grinder, this is where the magic happens!

A properly made espresso is just the best.

Trouble is now that I've turned into a coffee snob

I only hand grind my beans using an antique pestle & mortar, the beans have passed through the digestive system of a unicorn, twice. I do this whilst listening to vinyls of bands you’ve never heard of.

Substitute the milk for single cream , if you need sugar use brown and ground beans , it will change your life

try hand grinding them, it gives more time for the oils to get released.

I only made this thread, because I got some of those Taylor’s coffee bags to try today.

You only get 10 bags and they are quite expensive. But my, what a coffee they make.

Got blend no 4 the Italian one and it’s really smooth and needs no sugar.
