Men with hard facial hair, I need your help!

How do you trim/clean shave your beard?

I've been using Gillette Fusion razor for the past few years but it's been less and less effective at shaving, even with a new blade.

Do you have any recommendations?

I use a Babyliss trimmer and hair cutting scissors. Cant really grow much facial hair, only the goatee which I play around with and shape. Grows in odd directions too. Sometimes grow it out long but then too long, it looks pathetic

I have used magic powder with great success occasionally, but you have to let your hair grow at least 1cm before it can effectively take it all off.

Use beard oil bud keeps it soft an use a beard trimmer I like going to barbers tho tbh

Try using a hot towel before hand to try and soften the bristles

Use hair conditioner instead of shaving foam as it will soften the hair

I always shave dry, but I'll give this a go

Beard trimmer and a cut throat razor took some time to get the hang of the cut throat but a much nicer shave

Bonus being getting a scalp massage from a sweet young lady. In mine at least

I use my hair clippers to shape/tidy my beard and a straight razor to tidy up the edges.

When I do take it off/shave then trim down with the clippers and then use a straight razor for a nice clean, smooth shave.

I have used a straight razor for years and whilst it takes some practice to get used to it, it is by far the best shave I have ever had. It takes longer but it is well worth it.

both the same thing mate honestly get the hang of it and it's the nicest shave you will ever have

Yes scut throat razor - it gives the smoothest shave.
