Me and my little one went to see it last night. Really enjoyed it.

Much better then I thought it was going to be

As a fan of the old games, so much nostalgia to it

It does look good. Broke box expectations. It had the biggest opening weekend for a movie based on a video game. I'm just glad they sorted the CGI out for Sonic. Was looking incredibly freakish before.

I remember going to see the Super Mario film with Bob Hoskins and being utterly disappointed it was nothing like the game (I'll have been 11 at the time), is it like that but with more CGI?

Yea he looked like the stuff of nightmares. The new (classic?) design is so much better

No where near as bad as that film.

Its a film about Sonic being on Earth, but it does make heavy references to the old game

He plays Robotnik very well. I would have a hard time thinking of someone who could have played him better

Ahhh sonic. I remember lining up outside EB on Sonic Tuesday to purchase my copy of Sonic2. Bragging rights over all the SNES owners who had boring Mario at the time
