You’d hit a pot hole in mine and the back seat would bounce into your lap. I’ve never bought French again

I had a 1994 VW Polo Fox as my first car when I passed my test in 2000, it was only a 1.0 but as all young lads do I thrashed it all over and after around two and a half years managed to seize the engine I was quite envious of friends with richer parents who had brand new Saxo's and Golfs, or heavily modified Corsas and Novas, but it got me around!

Don't buy a second hand car off me, ever.

02 plate Mk 2.5 Mazda mx5 Phoenix edition. I got her after just a few driving lessons and drive her on L plates for six months before passing my test. I was very upset to have to sell her when we discovered that she had very bad rot underneath. I sold her for spares or repairs and was thrilled to find out she was fixed up a few months later and was back on the road

Dont get too excited. We're talking late 70's Princess (so technically BL but had an Austin badge like the equally shit Maestro that was my next hand me down), not the proper 60's one. Had an annoying 'ding' bell when you didn't have your seatbelt on and drove like a giant turd.

1981 Fiesta Ghia in crystal green with a black vinyl roof. Brown velour interior. 1.1 bobcat engine. Passed my test in it & list my virginity in it too. It still exists today in storage with a mate of mine pending eventual restoration to mint condition.

I would suggest a new back seat tho. It was well used in my time.
