Where ever I lay my hat

Many Fabbers who like to play golf? Love to swing the clubs when I get a chance.

I always try and get a birdie but normally end up surrounded by rough... almost lost my balls a few times

Hull

At my very first job at a hotel in the Scottish Borders, our GM was a member of the local Golf Club, where there was an Open Day, to attract new members.

Interested staff, incl myself were invited along, each one of us matched to a good player who could show us what to do.

After only 9 holes, I'd lost so many golf balls (some never to be seen again!), with so many wayward trajectories as balls flew everywhere but where they should, that I was regarded as a Weapon of Mass Destruction and should join the Army instead.

End of my time in Golf!
