I have been asked before but it wasn't compulsory.

I think it's optional, so they can leave a Veri.

Well maybe it depends on the clubs?

From what I've heard you need a fab account and atleast two verifications before you can be considered to attend Swingfields.

Maybe. I went to 4 clubs before I joined fab though so it was never an issue for me.

Swingfields isn't a club. That's for the single males so they can guarantee that the limited spaces are taken up by men known and respected in the scene, to prevent any awkward situations with opportunists who just want to get their dick wet.

That's a very specific event where that measure has been taken because they've had problems with the press attending before

There are other individual club event nights that may ask for similar but that is for specific events and not a general rule at any club I'm aware of
