Up on them there hills

We have had a plague of tiny fruit flies for about a week.

So I put on my linen suit, fitted and industrial mask and entered his room.

It was heaving with about 20 flys to the square inch.

I explored and under his desk was a breeding apple.

I quickly ran down stairs (leaving tho door open)

And got a plastic container to contain the contamination.

The house is once again full of tiny flys and yet I got rather a kick out of wearing my “Livingstone” outfit

Cull time, however, who sells fly spray in the middle of winter?

Made me think about what I did as a teenager, how about you and yours?

Lol. Love the story.

(Apple cedar vinegar and a teaspoon of sugar, then stir in a glass, cellophane really tight pulled on top and use a toothpick to prick holes in it evenly spaced - place near the infestation. If the cellophane unsticks use a rubber band to keep it tight. In about six hours you will have a glass full of flies trapped.)
