My profile is long too but thatsnot a bad thing.

You know what you are looking for, you are confident. If a guy doesnt read your profile then it says more about him than you.

Love your pictures as an fyi xx

Reading a long profile just shows that theres thought, the person has made that effort to find out more about you.

If what I say or write bores you so you dont read it then I'm going to put as much effort into speaking to you

It might be worth keeping the length of the profile. As others have said, if folks CBA reading a minute or two of text, are they worth your time and sexual efforts? We'd say no....... Our profile is short mainly because we're still working out what we want and we'll probably add bits as we work it out, make mistakes etc.

There’s nothing intimidating there at all. It’s just clear on a little about you, a little about what makes you tick and would you would be open to.

I think if anyone is ‘intimidated’ by having their expectations managed, they may not be worth your time.

Also, if someone can’t take less than 2 minutes to read that, I imagine they have the conversational abilities of a teaspoon. Again, not worth your time.

And yes, your pictures are really good

Hi. You don’t come across as up your own arse at all !

Your profile write up is not different than mine, best to be clear who you are, what you like and how you like things to be

Ignore these comments and others, just keep being you. Those that want to get to know you will, you don’t need individuals like these

Not intimidating. You have all the need and the kit, but might not hit the ground running at this stage.

Usually when I read that someone knows what they want, I assume they know exactly where to get it, as the two work hand in hand.

In terms of profile, scrolling is a nuisance. Cut it short to avoid that.

Otherwise, a few minutes of my life well spent. Thank you.

Why start a conversation with someone you have nothing in common with ? Read the profile and create the conversation from there if it matches, that way doesn’t waste each other’s time

You can see the personality from the style, the prose if you will. You can tell how anxious, how together, how uninhibited or damaged someone is just from that. A profile like the OP's is not for me. It's a "doubler scrooler" which for me shouts singleton looking for the next Mr Right, but there's a good chance he doesn't actually exist. Hard work, move on. It might work if you are also single, and looking for your Mrs Right. But i have already found her.

Swinging for me is flirtatious and fun, finding out what turns each other on, having a great time, without having to worry about what that have for breakfast, who they voted for or whether they prefer cats over dogs. If im presented with a list of Do's and Do not's then my interest wanes pretty damn quick.

Nothing intimidating. I find it's a good read into who you are. Its Literate, intelligent and clear.

If you want to shorten it like some have suggested. You make some changes where you make the statements

'please don't send friend requests'

'I have others who I meet here ..'

'I'm often in the forums'

You expand on these and maybe don't to.

But to be honest, sometimes a profile thats too much of something is a good filter. Your profile is great. Pictures are divine xxx

But for anyone, there's no point in filling your profile with who you don't want to meet, they'll still message you, and your profile ends up sounding as appealing as a rainy weekend in southend. Just use the site's filters, and delete/ignore/block anyone who messages who doesn't float your boat.

I think it’s great profile OP. one’s profile text should be a reflection of your personality and I imagine that this is precisely the case with you. It’s erudite, intelligent and shows someone who knows what she is looking for. It won’t stop the copy and paste and one line brigade, but it’ll make the more considered messenger think a bit more about how to grab your attention. You could chop out a bit perhaps, but there’s nothing there that’s either needy, intimidating, up your own arse or not worthy of our attention.

"I'm not in the mood to read a novel tonight but no from what I've seen you are not intimidating.

It's really not that long. It's actually very interesting if I'm honest.

Looked like "needy singleton" to me. Could you paraphrase it?

Clem do me, what’s mine like?

Double scrooler.... not gonna read that! Maybe next time I'm on the loo?

Do it and I’ll send you an upskirt picture of my cunt. Will take 62 seconds of that. "

Ok delete this bit:

**About me**

I’m very open minded, I swallow, milk prostates, drain balls and pamper.

I’m extremely kind and caring, after sex I like to whisper romantic things in my lovers ear like hey, get the fuck outta my house. I don’t smoke unless it’s a cock or a hamlet but I do puff my pipe (vape).

Some do’s and don’ts when messaging me:

•Do send face pictures, the face is the most important part of you, it’s what I’m looking at when I’m sucking you off, it’s what I’m looking at when I’m suffocating your mouth with my cunt and watching you struggling to breath. Ok so faces people, send them.

•If you want to send a picture of your penis or arse hole then do it, I’m not offended by them, just make sure you attach a face pic.

•Don’t send me a message asking if you can ask me a question, it’s beyond annoying and I’ll block you to teach you a lesson.

•Don’t send me a message without attaching a face picture.

Some advice from me to you, rem_mber boys this site is not a reflection of the real world. Please don’t get disheartened if your messages are ignored or deleted. The ratio of men to women is massively tipped in a woman’s favour on here. ALL women get bombarded with messages on here, especially me cos I’ve got nice boobs.

It simply isn’t possible to answer every message I receive so please don’t be offended if your message is deleted, it just means I’ve looked at your profile and don’t think we’re a match but don’t lose faith, seek guidance in Jesus and he will answer your prayers.

Regards.

Add: No face pic, no reply.

I'm in the south East, it says that. And if you're not up for travelling then don't message I guess. But surely you have some idea of the South East area and far it is in relation to yourself.

Meets start with messages, unless we have psychic people on here. We don't want to arrange meets with people travelling from a million miles away, too much risk of no show and no chance of anything regular. However, the point stands that some people ARE willing to travel distance. Also sometimes people might want to organise club meets in new cities if they visit, so will message people "out of area".

Will take what has been said on board and try and try and shorten the profile.

To be honest making a list of what I won't do etc in short list form seemed cold to me hence me trying to soften it a bit. But that's clearly come across the opposite to a few on here.

I very much doubt I'll change my location to my home town though. But the comments have been noted.

I said I'd leave it or only marginally shorten it because it's clear she doesn't just want a quick shag n go. Now many people don't message purely because they see that but they DO want a shag n go. So, if the OP wants to find a person she is suited to, leave it but yes, it might take time. Or, shorten it but accept many messages that do come through will be from people looking for a laugh, wank fodder, or a quick fuck in the nearest back alley (not a euphemism).

It's a good profile, it shows intelligence and self-awareness, says something about yourself and something about the type of people and experiences that you are interested in. Anybody intimidated or overwhelmed by the effort of reading a few paragraphs is not going to be a person of interest for you.

My profile is probably twice as long, maybe it filters out nearly everybody, but if they cba spending three minutes finding out a little about me, then I'm not going to invest my time with them.

We'd message privately, but filters. Unless you are looking for something less then the profile suggests you want, then don't take too much away. If you are happy to get loads of frankly time wasting messages, then thin it out. It entirely depends on what you want from the messages that might come through if you change it.

I like your profile OP. Defo not intimidating but I can see so many people not bothering reading it all because it’s long, yet concise. But that’s their problem, not yours. You probably deserve the type that can be arsed to read what you have to say, not the ones that can’t.

I don't think it comes across as intimidating, but I should think plenty of guys would feel like that.

You were on hot pics for ages, yes? So all those men who fabbed it probably had a look at your profile and thought they were 'out of your league', I absolutely hate that phrase but it's how a lot of men think. Obviously not these confident forum types as you can see from responses on here.

I think you could shorten it a bit, there's also a bit of reading between the lines, example ~

'I have others that I chat to on here, or very occasionally meet. These people look after me in various ways and I don’t mean sexually' ~ guys will be thinking wtf does that mean, so maybe Clemfandango might be right when he says some might think your hard work.

If you're happy with it that's all that counts x

I’d feel honoured with your comments FFS.

"I don't think it comes across as intimidating, but I should think plenty of guys would feel like that.

That bit sounds like a sugar daddy thing or that you’d be open to be being bought shit. "

OK I'd never looked it at that way. Thanks... Noted! I'll delete that coz I'm the total opposite and dont like being bought shit and not into sugar daddys at all.

"The ones who cba to read or arent worth your time anyway gorgeous.

I find the ones who cba to read tend to be a 2 pump squirt in the bedroom ans dont ask what you like...

Isn't it more fun to find out using "conversation", rather than printing out a personality CV?

Why start a conversation with someone you have nothing in common with ? Read the profile and create the conversation from there if it matches, that way doesn’t waste each other’s time "

Wow its very insightful to hear from men and women's opinion about how they view profiles. I'm with you being concise. However, when i first started on fab, I was inundated with far too many messages. So I added my likes and dislikes to stop the unnecessary messages... But alack, as evidence here, seems like some men don't like reading long info. But from a women’s point of view, the best messages are from people who read your profile and can relate to it or offer what you seek. I shortened mine and I actually think I get less messages. So really don't know the answer apart from you do what ever makes you feel comfortable, be yourself and the right lovers will appreciate and adore you for it. Screw the lazy guys who can't even bother having a decent conversation to you about your sexual preferences.

Hang on... You said my profile was long.....

But the couples profile I just saw... Omg how many times do you have to scroll on that bugger... Yet you posted the above.

Wow!

And let's not mention the name and town info.

Nice to hear you sticking up for those that need it. Will you do the same when this happens many times a day to single guys?

It gives a pretty clear sense of who you are and what you're looking for, it isn't so long that it's a pain to read on a phone, good job overall.

She doesn’t need my help as she’s already stated that up there ^^ have read. It’s interesting to see that it’s the same profiles that seem to offer their hierarchical approval and only do it in unison. The later 2 supplement my argument

We think it's a great profile. Well written and clearly describes what you are looking for.

Doesnt come across as intimidating or to long to us, but then we dont have the shortest profile in world either lol.

As said above your pics are fantastic too.

Just what we look for in a profile.

If you think it describes you perfectly then I wouldn't put to much faith into what others think just be who you are, can't imagine for a minute you are short of offers to meet lol

Your profile reads well and is very clear about who you are and what you're looking for. If it's too long or too demanding for anyone, they're obviously not who you're looking for. Don't worry about them. The last thing you should be doing changing it to suit everybody.

Why ask for advice then get the hump and start blocking those who were honest? You might as well start a thread asking people to validate your ego.

Maybe giving some actual constructive advice instead of tearing people down may actually be more productive.

I really don't have an ego at all. If I did would I have bothered asking for advice? Surely not? Surely I'd be that up myself I'd have thought it was a masterpiece and not even thought to ask.

And in fairness I'm well within my rights to block anyone who said its too long to read as they won't bother to message.

Still reading this or is it too long?

Don’t you and your gang block when you too receive honest responses and feedback.
