Mixing work with pleasure

Do you think it's good bad risky or ok to play swing or simply fuck with work colleagues or is it simply a fantasy too far?

Is it ok is yes to thus play with more than 1?

Are there any rules that should be laid down?

If you have experience in this can you state what job you do or industry you are in as I feel some industries such as healthcare and medicine would frown at this whereas others such as construction would maybe accept this.

Always wondered about this as I due to my job and role have always shun away out of fear but I wonder is this fear real or illusion.

We love the "never mix work etc" We, though careful engineering and a bit of luck, work at the same place (education related). We nominally work in different "departments" but we do work together pretty closely and often are in the same meetings, training etc. I chair meetings he attends; he puts on training for my staff. At work, we don't hug or kiss or hold hands, but we do flirt outrageously, and if I ever need anything doing with data or spreadsheets in a hurry, I only have to make lewd promises for later. In fact, colleagues now try to exploit this and get me to ask him to sort their data problems! We were coupley at the Christmas party and there have been one or two private "unprofessional" moments shared.

Other bonuses - we find it easier to manage childcare and book holiday together as managers know we would usually like time off together.

Done it twice - once working in retail and had a thing going with one of my team. It was bad for both of us and business when her partner found out.

Once when office based with a colleague, was awkward at times but we were both really open from the outset that we knew there was no future, were both just looking for sex and company until a better offer came up. The sex was great, she got a better offer first and is happily married to him!
