not a great deal, i never give my number out and i never accommodate, its not that offen i tell guys i meet off here my name to be honest

I tell people what they need to know, depending on the type of meet, if its a hotel meet where im just going to have sex and never meet them again they dont really need to know anything about me

The men I meet I get to know over a period of time. During that process information is exchanged including addresses, phone numbers etc.

My meets have to trust me, some meet socially several times before handing themselves over to me.

Personally I can't have sex with someone I don't know. Clubs and hotels are not for me.

In the years I've been doing this only twice have I felt I had a lucky escape, one got clingy and needy during out social meet, the other his name came up as a supporter of the BNP. I'd not got round to sharing any info aside from my name and mobile number.

The thing is the only man that really caused me problems wasn't someone I met online but a former boyfriend! It's strange people act like the people they encounter on line are from Planet Freak! The bloke/gal you meet at your cousins wedding could be a nutjob too you know.

I had a stalker, who's still on here, who tried to blackmail me so I created a new profile and decided that all information from then on would be a slight stretch of the truth. The original blackmailer hasn't located me and, fortunately, neither has any other....phew!

We give as little info as possible.

Although from reading the forums I have seen people give the names of family members, where they live, where they shop and so on.

Some people are too trusting or don't think before posting personal things about themselves.

It always amazes us that people have no qualms about saying they have young children and other background information. Where as that may be ok for places like facebook (although I am still dubious even there) a site based on sexual contact just doesn't seem appropriate and when there is no real need to I often wonder why people do.

People do give quite a bit of informnation about themselves unknowingly. Whilst many of us wouldn't give details of where we live, our family members names, our work addresses, we all glean information from threads that we've partaken in previously.

What I do disagree with is proferring personal information on other users. There have been threads recently about forum members being ill and others' reporting on their health progress. I don't agree with that. To me someones health and details of hospitalisation etc should not be bandied about on an internet site. Whilst the person they are reporting on may say they don't have a problem with it, surely it isn't respectful to tell all and sundry
