"Is there a question? Or just looking for opinions? Will have a google and read. " It's a statement, for discussion. It's such a pity that we'd have to go to such drastic measures as enclosing a huge area of the ocean, when we could make some significant adjustments to how we live instead. Damming the sea would obviously alter the natural environment for millions of other animals, potentially losing some of them.

"A proposed North Sea dam would enclose the sea, linking Scotland with Norway and France with England. The sea isn't particularly deep. This would help to protect several countries from rising sea levels. " Erm think this is over estimating the engineering requirements and capabilities we currently have..

"Can we have it starting at Berwick on East Coast and looping around England and Wales to the west coast England / Scotland border locking out Europe and Scotland from our fishing waters" That sounds like a brilliant idea and i bet the Scot's would have no problem finishing the wall from the west coast to the east completing the circle while the Irish would spend every last Euro they had buying pumps to fill that bowl to the top
