"You always hear about global warming in the news but campaigns for global cooling which we are entering now doesnt seem to exciting how come?" Who says the world is cooling? It certainly has in the past (20,000 years ago most of the UK looked like Greenland and sea levels were about 120m lower), but all the scientific evidence suggests that the world is now heating because or our actions. There is scientific consensus about this.

And we could be starting a new mini ice age that's going to last for about 30 years. For every fact one person say's another person can give a fact against it.

Well the scientific community disagree. While it is true there have been multiple climatic shifts (about 50 in the past million years) the current trend is to global heating caused by increased levels of greenhouse gases (e.g. Co2, methane).

It's generally agreed that although yes, the earth has warmed and cooled in cycles in the past, these cycles have been much more unstable since the start of the quaternary period (about 2.6 million years ago) and have become much, much more pronounced into the present day due to human influence. This shouldn't be considered normal because it isn't on the same scale as what has happened in the past, and the amount of human input has changed things massively. Source: this is what I do.

Are you sure you wouldn’t prefer to take your scientific evidence from hearsay delivered by a bunch of blokes, most of whom think “Fuk U now?” is an appropriate way of starting a conversation? Staff at The New Scientist magazine are shitting themselves, honestly
