I think it's quite difficult to click on line because you can never be sure who you're actually talking to. We try and meet in person if we can.

We do chat to one of two from miles away that we get along with quite well though

No. I'd probably adjust my approach or expectations if I didn't. It's reasonable to remain mindful of your objectives whatever you do, so that you can evaluate your results and what you are doing. We can always change our objectives or how we do things.

I click with a lot of people online, because I'm good at holding a conversation and I'm very entertaining, so I tend to attract messages from other chatty, witty types.

When it comes to taking it from online chat to a real life meet... that's when the majority of ghosting happens.

C'est la vie, I still enjoy the conversations I have going and I still have a lot of fun on here.

If you message first it depends on the other persons reply, one word answers and a lack of engagement make it hard to get to know someone...and a bit of a red flag tbh. On the other hand, if you have a bit of an unusual kink like myself then it can be easier to discuss things online..
