Need a kick up the arse.

Supposed to go gym, didnt get off my sofa. Need some food, cant be bothered to cook. Cant even be bothered to get a take away.

Hidden my profile, no interest in anyone at the minute. No interest in trying to meet anyone new.

Not feeling depressed or down or anything. Just cant be bothered.

Anyone else get like this? What do you do to pick yourself up?

Oh you're having an uff day. One of those where everything makes you go 'uff'

Best thing to do is to watch YouTube videos of penguins falling over.

Get up off the sofa & go outside for a walk ideally in a green space. Say hi to passers by, someone will smile. It might be you

I try and go at least 3 times a week. Think I've been once in the last 3.

I know just how your feeling I was about to put up a similar thread.

I just can't be arsed to do anything at the moment feel fed up & pissed off with everything and everyone, same thing day in day out it's getting me down and depressed yet I am unable to put my finger on what is making me feel like this. Will say I have had enough of this cold wet and shitty weather hoping it's just that getting me down.

Apparently you should do something you're really good at so you are filled with positive endorphins. Then approach things with a smile on your face and the knowledge that 'You can' rather than 'can't be bothered.'

But I just go to sleep then I've forgotten all about it.

It's the 1st 2 months of the year. Have such a negative effect. You will feel better once you get a bit of spring sunshine

I felt a bit like that, on top of some other symptoms. Got checked, turned out to be vitamin D deficient. Feel much better now I'm, erm, "taking the D" every day...

Yes and it’s normal. It will pass

Try and find one thing you do enjoy doing and focus on it

I can't afford to do most of what I'm really good at, and the rest is illegal.

Happens to the best of us pal.

I’d spend all my time relaxing if it wasn’t for one small, incredibly beautiful, nagging reason that I just couldn’t possibly live without...

I do this too at times and can never seem to figure a reason.

I think our bodies have cycles (women's are obvious) when our hormones fluctuate. I think also sometimes we just need rest.

Maybe your brain is forcing you to rest.

POF...I think it happens to most of us. Just be good to yourself, don't be hard on yourself about stuff, like the gym. Just give yourself a break....I'm sure it will pass. The crappy weather probably doesn't help either x

Had the same loads of times.....as many have said, it will pass.

The only way I’ve found to speed up that progress is do the things you’re avoiding; they’ll be the hardest things to do at that time, but maybe that’s the point....?

Yep this is it for me too.

I'm ridiculously bored.

I feel like I'm boring too because my life is like Groundhog Day!

Same old shit day in day out.

I recently moved and thought this would change my life - don't get me wrong I love it

But my life is still basically the same.

I wish I could offer some words of advice but unfortunately I feel the same as you Op. I just can't be arsed with anything. Maybe it's lack of sunshine known as S.A.D.?
