"If it’s the hot sounds like your boiler could be a few things " Do you feel up to guessing what? I've been the owner of many boilers over the years and this particular problem doesn't make any sense to me. T.

"Sounds like a blockage in the hot water exchanger inside the boiler xx " Thanks I still get hot water in my bathroom and the heating works well, would that problem affect that?

"If you are still getting hot water in the bathroom. I would at a guess that there is something wrong with your kitchen tap." Some taps have a plastic sleeve insert for a tap seating.

"If you are still getting hot water in the bathroom. I would at a guess that there is something wrong with your kitchen tap. Sounds like limescale or swollen rubber in hot tap " This makes sense. I'm new to this flat and have spent the best part of two weeks scr*ping limescale off baths and showers and there's also a small leak at the bottom of the mixer tap if I don't turn the cold off firmly. That's why I love this place, I can get the cheaper option done of replacing the tap rather than paying out for a highly unlikely boiler repair all thanks to collective knowledge. Thank you all for taking the time to help out on a Sunday evening. Tops.

"Have you ever had good hot water flow to the areas you don't get it? Where we're living we need a pump to push the hot water to places further away from the boiler. Could that be it? Does the flow get weaker further away from the boiler?" It's a combi the pressure is mains not from a cistern xxx

"I'll make your answer simple. It could be absolutely anything. So you have to have a CORGI registered plumber take a look and give a quote. They must me corgi registered or they are illegal and full of shit. Just bear in mind most heating systems involve both gas and a naked flame. Good luck. " Sorry my friend one does not need to be "gas safe " once corgi to remove a tap washer

Keep up; CORGI registration ended and ‘gas safe’ took over in 2009. It’s a problem with the tap not the boiler. Probably the static pressure overcomes the restriction as you first turn it on and as that drops the flow trails off too. Before you do anything have a look under the sink and see if there’s an isolators valve. If the slot is lined up across the valve, it’s probably turned off but open a crack. Turn it in line with the pipe with a screwdriver. If this isn’t it your tap has an issue as others have said. Failing that, get yourself a smurgleburg and tweak it two turns left with a oogeamaflip

Honestly I'm thinking an 8" clunge-dipper could be appropriate here
