"I know that Liverpool is 42 miles from a big boobed cunt who will happily chauffeur you about as needed and show you the sights. Okay, in Liverpool itself. Lunya. You need to go to Lunya and order all the small plates that can fit on your table and then a few more and spend an evening eating deliciousness and drinking good wine. Coffee wise - Bold Street Coffee. Lacey gave me an amazing suggestion of a poutine place which was utterly lush but I can't rem_mber its name. Lacey? Laceeeey? " Caribou poutine; yum!

"Best coffee: moose coffee. I've had a LOT of coffee in town but that's my favourite. If you've not done the river cruise on the ferry that's worth doing (cringey but good fun), as is a trip up the Anglican cathedral tower. If you're with a man then send him to the gents in the Philharmonic Dining Rooms- they're well worth seeing, honest!" Gonna look up the Moose coffee on insta. I’d spend all day walking around to coffee shops.

"my advice would be don't go to Liverpool " Why? I was there for two nights myself just recently, and received numerous offers of blowjobs, ‘man pussy’, and even gloryholes! Very few single women or genuine couples looking for straight guys in and around Liverpool it seems, so perfect for yourself

"Is there an actual Bold street? Boldy on Bold Street! " Bold street is my favourite bit, takes you from central station to the bombed out church, loads of restaurants and cafes and it has a really lovely vibe to it. Best hungover breakfast in town: cafe Tabac at the top of bold street. Oh, Chinatown is up that way and that's worth a look - there's a huge Chinese arch there.

At night, Concert Square is usually the place to be. As with all cities, some areas should be avoided, but that's common sense. If you get a taxi, check the distance on Google maps first and ask for a price before getting in. Some taxi drivers will literally drive you in a circle and charge you £10 for it. John x

"Both Cathedrals Lunya on Hanover Street or Lunya Lita, it’s little sister, in Albert Dock for food, wine and delicatessen [Catalan Tapas Bar run by a Scouse husband and wife team) Bloody marvellous and they have a middle sister on Deansgate/Barton Arcade in Manchester Maritime Museum Walker Art Gallery You can also go up to the top of the Liver Building (one of the three Graces) for fabulous views over the River and City. Pluse experience on of the key landmarks Don’t know the extent St George’s Hall is open to the public at that time but a fabulous building with amazing marble floors Flanagan’s Bar on Matthew Street for an Irish pub with a Scouse twist. The Alchemist for cocktails on Brunswick Street. Both not far from the LGBTQ area If any others that haven’t already been mentioned come to mind I’ll let you know " Thanks Doc(& everyone!) I’ve been to Lunya Lita and loved it!

"If you like Indian food then you must go to Mowgli, it's like a street food restaurant, different from your typical Indian and every dish is just a burst of amazing flavours Love Indian food!! Mowgli is amazing and I've had many recommendations for Bundobust which is also Indian small plates though I'm yet to personally try it yet. Can't get into Bundobust in Mcr with a wheelchair so couldn't comment personally but others have rated it. Is there one in Liverpool? The Philharmonic Dining Room is good good but good idea to book. " Yes it's on Bold Street and has a lift

I've been to Bundobust in Leeds and Manchester and they were both excellent. Yet to try the Liverpool branch..." I really want to try it. I planned to take advantage of their NHS promotion but missed it.

"Best coffee: moose coffee. I've had a LOT of coffee in town but that's my favourite. If you've not done the river cruise on the ferry that's worth doing (cringey but good fun), as is a trip up the Anglican cathedral tower. If you're with a man then send him to the gents in the Philharmonic Dining Rooms- they're well worth seeing, honest!" Defo go the philharmonic. Go in the gents. It’s pure class.

"A Shiverpool Tour. One of the best tourist things I've ever done. The Art School Restaurant was excellent. I'd highly recommend it." Lived in Liverpool for 4 years for uni, would absolutely second the Shiverpool tour! The 2 cathedrals are must-sees as well, more the Anglican and it's gardens for sheer grandeur though! For food I'd recommend Death Row Diner for amazing burgers and The Quarter which was always my cafe of choice and had rocky road slices which are unbeatable. If you're into board games there's a board game cafe near L1 called Sugar and Dice, huge collection and the staff are incredible! If the bombed out church has any events on those are normally pretty excellent, and the art gallery, library and slave museum are amazing for culture, enjoy yourself!
