Vanilla is a term thats sometimes used for non swingers,so I guess if you're being asked to go on a vanilla meeting I would think it would just be a social meeting with no sex

The term Vanilla is usual dished out on here by swingers who like to snub what they would call ordinary people in ordinary evry day lifes.

Always sounds to me to be thrown out in abit of an arrogant statement to be honest when I hear the term used. Its like as if every one who is not a swinger is like sooooooooooo beneath them and not worthy cos they are not swingers

lol I dont really like to hear the term vanilla to be honest but thats just my humble opinion tho of course

Vanilla means conventional sex/what is seen as socially acceptable sexual behaviour i.e nothing spicey , kinky or twisty ......

A social meet is a social meet whether it's vanilla's or swingers.

Never heard of vanilla meet until this forum

Bdsm types use vanilla or 'nilla to describe non lifestyle or otherwise straight people or nilla sex ie straight sex with no kink. Swinging would be kinky to most nillas but fairly tame to some of the freaks that I know.

The term vanilla or nilla can also be used as derogatory or as an insult by some bdsm types

I use it often but not as a derogatory term just as a descriptive term, I don't do arrogance and never believe I'm better than anyone ever

When talking to swinging friends about non swinging friends I will refer to them as vanillas and when talking to vanilla friends about swinging friends I refer to them as swingers, now I'm sorry but I just don't understand how I'm being derogatory to either party

Or is this all about the label bandwagon again? We all use them all the time without even realising we do it it doesn't have to mean we are getting ideas above our stations its just means we are lazy and can't be arsed to use more words than are needed to describe something or someone

Think of the term vanilla as in no added flavours. It doesn't mean a no sex meeting, just sex with nothing else added. Straight sex if you like. Or bi straight sex. Um... fuck it, just go with the flow.
