Have you ever come across a profile where everything resonates (pics, bio, vibe) and then you observe the person on the forums and makes you think "they're the complete package"?

I've had the first bit, with the perfect profile, but those geographically close enough to me that I would want want to meet don't tend to use the forums.

Yes, there's a guy we've been messaging. He doesn't log on that often but God damn I want him! Of all the guys we've messaged, I'd travel anywhere to have him

There are 2 profiles within 30 miles of me that just blow my socks off, would give my left arm for a social with them but they are well out of my league so I just stay silent and appreciate their awesomeness.

Although it is only through messaging for me that they can get to the complete package stage. And even then there is absolutely no substitute for actually meeting to determine it experientially.

As a single parent who doesn't drive? Maybe not insurmountable but certainly too much of a challenge to be feasible

I did, kind of, once with the help of a little star and a couple of times when I put on my big girl pants. I never really message with the intent of wanting more, I know that might sound odd but I don't like that sort of pressure, it's nice seeing how things naturally flow.

They were all very successful and they still mean a lot to me now.

Also, OP, I really love that opening. So cutesy!

Distance depends on your circumstances. People with kids who can't easily host at home and have to employ babysitters etc plus juggle work etc are not as flexible as the free and easy singleton

The forums are a useful way of seeing a bit more of a personality, sadly the majority of forum users are further south.

I’ve met several people in my time on fab who’ve been the ‘complete package’ - you being one of them my lovely - never a cross word in 2 years as friends!

I know several guys i’ve met/still meet who are incredible company both in and out of bed - and their profile reflects that!

Not all of them have been forumites though - and the most recent being the Male half of a couple I met last night - a wonderful guy!

And do/would I message them first? Of course! I think everyone on here knows I’m far from shy!

Oh yes, but it's actually been the conversation we have had that really clinched it. We sent an initial message not because we were excited by the things you list, OP, but she seemed nice and something else brought about our chatting.

We chat about all sorts of stuff pretty regurly, virtually nothing sexual. We get on really well and are on a wavelength socially. She's just lovely (and very easy on the eye) and we want to meet her. We have no idea what meeting her socially might lead to but we don't have an agenda. Whatever it turns out to be, we have good reason to believe knowing her will be a good thing for us all.
