Thick and meaty or chipolata?

And where on earth can you buy really rough cut textured proper sausages from these days? We have tried so many different ones.

And bacon, the amount of bacon you can buy that reduces to a quarter of it's size when cooked. Ridiculous.

We want proper British produced quality meat.

That shitty bacon is british.

You are going to have to pay to get good unprocessed meat.

I can get proper sausages from good old fashioned butchers.

Once in London visiting my daughter I bought some from a traditional butcher and paid with a but inside I was and I handed over the amount he asked for like but I was inside. I ate them very slowly

I've found the Tesco Finest sausages very good, nice variety too. The pork and leek are awesome with mash and gravy and the pork and apple ones are great for sandwiches.

Yes, we always try to buy from the local butchers whenever we can get to one. Local butchers need supporting.

Simply Sausages used to have a London shop but now they only seem to sell through Waitrose and have radically reduced their range.

It looks like they have a shop in Greenwich now but that's not very handy from where you are, OP.

Local butchers. Fortunately, living in the country(ish) I have many options over that supermarket rubbish.
