After reading some posts here and responses from certain individuals I think they might be the love children of Saddam Hussain or travelled here from the middle ages. Obviously far from reality, quite shocked tbh.

We're just a bunch of swingers (trying) to exchange a set of views in a discussion, and in this community one person's view is just as valid as another's.

everyone has them, and most of them stink!

instead of being dismissive, ave a resoned argument and put your own opinion across. its called debate and what forums are for.

its differeing personalities and political views i suppose (although i have no steadfast political leaning personally, i will vote for who i feel reflects my opinions at the time)

to vilify someone, or a group of people, as being out of touch/stuck in the past, or just simply wrong, is, imo, wrong, medievil and out of touch.

hav ealways said, as long as its not illegal or immoral, then its a valid point.

so the same would go for muggers/rapists and murderers/drug pushers and so on...

as i know you are referring to the benefits thread (and as such i personally never said to break up families) i know of which the certain post you are meaning, but is it really more idiotic to say children should be cared for by the state than to actually bring kids into the world you cant look after yourself?

if so, then i feel you share the same blinkers as shergar.

I am pretty sure that is refering to me.... Obviously you only selectivly read things, which is your right. at no time did I say the benefit system was should be taken away,

I do feel that children who are starving and living in bad homes deserve better, do you not think so?

My point exactly. No one should be starving so if they are then they need more help/benefits and better housing.

My parents never had much when I was growing up, infact we were poor. But I got all the love I ever needed from them.

and did they either of them work, or did they sit at home on benefits and bring you up?

im almost certain at least your dad worked, and gave you the ethic that you now have, to enable you to have made your living and be able to choose not to work, no?
