Cool so do you work as a photographer? It’s only a hobby of mine but been getting me all over the UK and hopefully going back to south east Asia once all the virus commotion have calmed down, what are your interests in photography?

I'm not. But it something I'd like to do.

Had a telescope but left it at the exs. I'd like to take high def shots of the moon and nebulas etc

Have been full time, but now part time. It’s part of my job not the main stay.

Worked in porn, glamour, etc, and commercial. Also dropped my standards and did weddings.

Eyup Prince fellow Yorkshire man here lol, that requires some investment as you need to track the stars and also mount your camera to a telescope, I can get reasonable shots of the moon with my 500mm lens but have to crop quite heavily to fill the frame, most reasonably priced DSLR or mirror less cameras with a half decent lens will give you good Astro photography shots if you want to capture the night sky to start with, I’m a Nikon shooter and had a 17-55mm f2.8 on my old D5300 it was really good for that sort of thing and I reckon you could get that setup second hand for around £500, hope this helps mate

I do a bit of wildlife photography. One of my kids has lost the cable for the battery charger somewhere so I can't get out at the minute and it's pissing me right off considering the nice weather and great light we're finally having.

Certainly know your stuff then, was/is the wedding stuff well paid and what would be the best way to get into something like that? I’d much prefer to help someone out who’s already established is that a thing or is it mainly a solo job?

well I hope it turns up, what’s your best bit of wildlife you’ve captured on cam? I enjoyed the seal colony at Ravenscar a few weeks back any good places to visit your way?

My best was probably a crowned crane in Uganda. Absolutely gorgeous birds.

It can be, but it’s high pressure!

You need exceptional people skills, diplomacy, tenacity, and a thick skin. Your time management skills will need to be second to none, and your crowd management exceptional. It goes without saying that your photography and post processing skills are beyond reproach. You need 2x of all your equipment.

Photography is a competitive, declining market in all areas. Weddings are holding on for now, but is overcrowded.

My old man has a SLR, not sure on the make but he paid a fortune for it. Just need to get myself a new telescope

I run my own photography/videography and specialise in creating video adverts for a variety of car part vased companies.

I do alot in the motorsport industry around europe which is always good fun but im very lucky in being able to photograph/video in a variety of genres

Photography is both my hobby & job, though the line between is pretty blurred, most holidays are spent shooting underwater wildlife & corals, then back on dry land it can be pretty much anything ranging from corporate & PR work lik product shots & conferences through to stuff for fetish magazines.

On the work side I'm also the in-house photographer for my local swinging venue Radlett Parties.

I do weddings occasionally but predominantly just use photography to document my child and the dogs now

I've always been interested in photography, and recently bought a D5300 (my first DSLR) to get more experience.

Not ready to call myself a photographer yet, though.

Im often taking pictures, landscapes, places, sky at dusk, also cities, moments. Not into selfies and that.
