Had a couple wink at me. Pics were VERY nice. Messaged them to say thank you for your wink. They asked for a face pic. Sent. They messaged back saying I wasn't her type. I messaged back with a thank you anyway for their interest. They then blocked me so that I'm off their list.

This is how it should be.

No fuss, politeness, everyone's happy.

If I politely tell someone they are not for me, I definitely don't need a message back saying thank you for the reply anyway. That's how Fab should be for me.

I get the logic, but only because there isn't a better, politer, feature to achieve that goal. I'd like to "ignore" profiles personally.

That's what I'd do and what I'd expect too OP. I often think I'm so very British and polite

I try to rem_mber that other people respond in different ways and that's acceptable too.
