Hello you beautiful folk.

There are so many great band touring this year and I was wondering if any of you music lovers were forking out cash to go? I had a nightmate getting MCR tickets and they aren't even for me.

Pearl jam at Hyde Park!

I halved one of my kids Christmas budget to secure us 4 tickets.

Sure he’ll appreciate it sometime in the future

London

Green Day in London, supported by Fall Out Boy and Weezer...my inner angsty teenage self is very excited (not that she'll show it, obviously).

A couple of smaller festivals lined up, including 3 of my favourite acts on the bill at Wickham.

A few jazz gigs lined up too.

York

Rammstein in Coventry in June, Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry in September. There will be others too but those are the two I've already paid for...

The South Near That London

Isle of Wight - Mainly because Duran Duran are playing (wife loves them) but also I've never been to a festival and I have a 50- things-to-do-before-50 list, and going to a festival is one of them.

Incider festival last weekend was my first gig of the year. Black Water County in March is my next definite. Possibly the Levellers next week. There'll be plenty more too

Hefty Hideaway

I got MCR tickets, I nearly had a heart attack pressing refresh though.

Got a few little emo gigs, my beloved Weezer and Download so far. However this all means lots of lovely mama/teenrager time so it's all worth it.

The only gig without her is when I go and see my pop heroes Alphabeat in Glasgow. No shame!

.

I'm going to see Fall Out Boy soon (well FOB, Green Day and Weezer but I'm mainly going for Fall Out Boy!). I'm so so excited for it!

I went to see Yonaka with a dear friend recently and we're probably going to see them again in Clapham, fingers crossed.
