"Write it in your profile, so its known in advance? It will only put off the utter fuck wits, so not worth your time anyway. Do you go to any local support groups? To share with like minded people that will understand? " I'm on a social media support page where I can talk to others who are going through the same thing but they are with long term partners who understand. Thanks for the advice though I appreciate it

"The right partners will understand. I would suggest not rushing into sex , take time to get to know that they understand your disability / illness and it’s implications. I’ve dated a woman with invisible disability and we took a long time to have PV sex, by the time we did I was fully understanding her condition, mostly just through spending time with her. If you’re wanting to have sex in clubs or with relative strangers on here it’s going to be problematic , most men won’t get this stuff quickly and will probably think it’s an excuse if they don’t know you well because for many on here , it’s all about sex." Absolutely agree with you on this, we try to spend that time getting to know someone(s) and chat about things pre any talk of play, we have been in a club environment and the wife has seen and had interaction with a single male who we had later seen in a main play room and she was glad she didn't play with due to the style of play. We have seldom found substantial meets on fab to be fair and generally meet via club visits, I don't think things like this get spoken about enough as when we have spoken to couples for instance in a club they often tell stories of similar issues they have male and female which maybe can feel embarrassing or similar Your correct the selection process is key to having fun in this scene

"OP, am I right in saying that this is treatable? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but my daughter had this for years and couldn't get pregnant because of it. She had treatment (tubes cleared?), and now I have a beautiful granddaughter. Not sure if I've got the right illness! X" It's not curable, if you have it you have it for life. It can be managed with hormonal treatments. They can do a laparoscopy which can remove some of the extra tissue that grows but that is only temporary and the liklihood is it will grow back. There's often internal scar tissue and adhesions from it and they can be improved by surgery but as we know with external scars, you'll always have them. Mine has also affected some of the nerves in my pelvis which gives me pain in my right leg. There's not a great deal that can be done about that, nothing that wouldn't risk the feeling and movement in my leg anyway. Otherwise treatment is a hysterectomy.

"And unfortunately even a hysterectomy doesn't always cure it as it has been known to grow around the liver, kidneys even the lungs. It's a truly horrible disease that effects 1 in 10 women and can take years, even decades to diagnose" Sounds truly awful. This illness should be brought to the forefront more often. X
