Any advice on what I should focus training on in the gym body parts that might need some more work eg chest shoulders etc

Cardio. I haven’t even looked at your photos but every one skips on cardio.

All that “it kills your gains bro” is just nonsense

Legs and cardio is what everyone skips, so start there.

SW Scotland

Focus on squat, deads and overhead press. A few assistance moves for each and throw in some conditioning/circuits each session as your cardio.

All depends on what you are looking to achieve. Bodybuilding, strength or just an overall good balanced body.

If you are after the latter, it's difficult to better the basic compound movements, build your programme around deads, squats, bench and overhead press.

For strength, go for a good low rep/heavy programme.

If you are bodybuilding, get yourself an experienced AND knowledgeable training partner or coach, along with a good nutritionist ( worth every penny).

Good luck your progress. If you want any info or chat, just pm me.

Central

Focus on balance, so that your body doesn't get any gains that are disproportionate to the rest of it. If you work your chest, also do equivalent work to your back. Likewise, don't train your upper body, whilst your lower body gets less emphasis. It's what's on the inside that's important too.

You should focus on everything at once so you could follow a full body workout for the best result do that 3 times a week.
