Strong England team for saturdays match

Heinz gets the nod ahead of Youngs - deserved as you could see the difference he made to the delivery of the ball when he came on against France last week.

Pretty gutted with the performance but good to see French mojo back. Both in players and the crowd. Think they got run of the green (how was that not a knock on?!?). But England asked for it - Curry at number 8. Not the best choice.

Can’t blame Eddie for trying. Lots of calling him arrogant - in all fairness I think he sees these games as experiments but wouldn’t want to lose. Young’s is having a lot of flack - still a great player but only behind Billy V. The team needs that go forward otherwise they lose speed. And then Young’s becomes poor. Need a number 8 specialist before anything.

True and adds more spark. For sure. I still think England have played a more Young’s type initially (wiggelswoeth?) for first 50 or 60 and then look to increase pace. However, think about games with Billy and the speed at which team has created points up to now. All comes down to Number 8 and the go forward.

I’m hoping Wales beat Ireland which I think is possible. Ireland looked shaky last week and Wales looked good.

England need a strong performance after last week and I think it’s going to be a great match.

I’d love Italy to beat France but I can’t see that happening.

I recon it’s going to be a good one this year with France knocking it up a notch, the first SixNations after the World Cup can be a bit of a tester though with new players and management all trying to prove their worth
