Neither of us to over the top though, clean, fresh and well groomed is standard at all times anyway.

Before a meet for sure, I get paranoid in summer or when hormones are fluctuating getting hot flushes and when in a club and heats on and they have no shower facilities I have pack of wipes on hand in my bag of tricks which also contains variety of condoms, lubes and other bits. I'm amazed not all clubs have shower facilities or freely allow use of them.

On the cleanliness topic people who don't rinse after going to the toilet then expect oral

This is a really good point! I was in a club two weeks ago playing with a couple, suddenly she announces she needs a "wee", jumps up, comes back and it's clear she hadn't given herself a good clean/refresh. Also met men that don't do this either in clubs.

Don't know many clubs without shower facilities though

It's an absolute minimum, that shows some respect for the partners and yourselves. Some people do think that having a shower at some point in their life means that they are suitably clean. It needs to be as near to immediately prior to a meet as possible.

Find public baths, gyms or service stations to clean yourself, if you've been travelling or working.

I had a guy meet to play who had stale seeat and body odour after a day out at work. I wouldn't engage and I ask everyone on their pland for being clean now.

One would think that virtually everyone at a meet would ensure they were 100% clean, spruced up and smelling lovely.

Alas, that most logical notion has escaped some people, as I've found over the years.

One lady was frankly smelling bad, and that was with her clothes on!!

Another Couple welcomed me at the front door to their home, he shook hands with me (albeit from an awkward angle reaching round past his wife), only for me to feel some gooey mess in my hand. Turned out, his right hand, (partially hidden by his wife) had an infection inside the bandaging strapped around his hand, out if which was oozing pus and Lord knows what else???? The strapping itself was filthy dirty just by looking at it! Yeuuch!

Quite how he'd expected for me to miss that when we got "down and dirty"? I suppose he was part way there already!

I met someone once that had not, he was sent home after traveling over two hours to meet me. I m only glad he was a gentlemen and took my made up excuse at genuine. I didn't want to hurt his feelings but on the same note I couldn't touch him. Luckily it was my first meet and said I got cold feet.

Dammmm man...ok when i was younger i went to a friend's house, never knew it was going to go down but as soon as i knew i was like "just need to use the bathroom" I'd pull down my pants throw my balls over the sink and give them a quick wash because im gonna get me some nasty time!!!.... come on guys don't say you've not down the same and more than luckily the girls too!!! So if thats what we do when we we're younger.... come dont matter what you use this site for, at the end of the day a meet could come out of it and that means nasty time is round the corner, so why would you not bring your A Game and smell sweet and ready to eat...
