YAAAAAAAY crappy long dark miserable January is over, finally got paid, it's noticeably lighter in the afternoons, signs of spring on the way with snowdrops and buds appearing, pancake day soon, exciting leap day coming up, plus it's my birthday today!

Do you like February? Do you have a favourite month?

Oh happy birthday. I quite like February. I noticed how much lighter it was yesterday evening.. and greeted by a pleasant sunny morning today. However my favourite month is usually May. Have a lovely day

When February arrives it's like yes! Psychologically moving out of the grey months and into the green! Even with the threat of snow it feels more positive!

Happy birthday beautiful!

I have a love for the autumnal months - this year three birthdays to celebrate, Halloween, getting chartered. I'm not going to wish away the year though.

And this time of year, when the bulbs start coming up and we have a beautiful snowdrop walk about 5 minutes drive from us which is like something from a fairy tale. It's a welcome start to the year.
