Ever want to say something to someone privately here and you go to send your message and bam.... You run right into a filter... Its frustrating... But everybody has preferences...

I’ve only don’t it once and the reply was very rude and abrupt. I was friendly aswell.

Shocked that most do chat via forum threads going off that.

Yep, I often hit the filters even when my age is right and they have ts/tv on their profiles, hitting the one that says they're not looking for people of your sex/gender is frustrating when they have your type right there!

So now I'm less likely to respond in threads, calling all subs/ladies/etc and I don't message people directly from threads

If I can't say it in thread, I don't say it

I hate messages that come from forum posts.

Just so people are aware, I hate messages that come from forum threads. Don’t use it as an in. I have enough mail to get through as it is.

I don't mind it if I've had a slightly off topic back and forth with someone and they take it to inbox to avoid clothing up the post. It's when people who don't even contribute to the thread message me something they could have just posted in the forum that it annoys me. Same with people who send sly messaged via inbox as they don't want to say it publically. Jokes on them anyway as i hardly check my inbox anymore anyway!
