It's weird being back after such a long break and not seeing certain names. I could reel off plenty of old favourites that kept many entertained that have either gone into hiding or left.

It'll always be the same. The forums may not change much in the way of new thread titles and original material, but they certainly do in terms of population and therefore 'popularity' of certain members.

You're right of course, but personally I wouldn't expect to be on anyones list. I've not been in the forums long enough or consistently enough to be noticed until quite recently. Do you think people's feelings will be hurt if they're not mentioned?

Nice to say nice things tho. Even if you (as in me) realise you missed out loads of people who are lovely.

I rarely get mentioned in these sort of threads, are my feelings hurt? No. But likewise it does sting a little. I get what Lickety meant when she said she'd been here so long she was part of the furniture and as a result overlooked. Or at least I'll keep telling myself it's that...

These threads, or variations of them, are done so often and it's almost always the same names and to be honest starting a thread about the most prolific posters would garner the same results. Still let's not dwell on it nor ask why so many people think the forum is so cliquey
