"I have one.. but we joined the common market.. not a federal union.. that was Brown and Blair's doing with no consultation .. imo"

This isn’t true by any stretch of the imagination. The idea that the literature of the day, in particular the “NO” campaign, didn’t argue that it was more than a common market, is a little far fetched. And the idea that the PM of the day didn’t inform the nation that it was about more than that is also the same; he even wrote an article stating so.

But that’s by the by.

If it’s going to commemorate sovereignty then they should have waited, as on the 31st at 23:01, we will be objectively less sovereign whilst we are in the transition period, due to the agreed arrangements.

Hyberbole is getting out of hand. Brexit is not the epitome of nationalism. It is no where near it and devalues the lives of those who suffered and died due to extreme nationalism.

From a remain voter who thinks we will rejoin the EU in the future but does not need extreme arguments to hold a principled view.

The thing is that the £2 will be worth what the 50p is now, a little while after the Brexit trade deal doesn't happen

Better to live one day as a free man than a thousand as a slave..

Cool I agree now please tell me my new freedoms because I feel iv just lost my freedom to live in a further 26 countries without additional complications

So explain how I was a slave with no rights to do anything I want and how that's going to radically change

Hmmmmmm

Grasshopper.. the answer is before you.. seek and explore .. you will find the answer..

No it isn't you clearly speak utter nonsense

Weird that 16 million or so disagreed with you.. but the thread is about the coin.. just the coin, and, only the coin. Oxford comma included "

It is now

So long as I'm not being held up at a Supermarket check out by some saddoe in front of me who's insisting on not accepting the Brexit 50p piece in his change!

They'll learn what the phrase "get a life" really means!

"Anyone that's outraged over a 50p Brexit coin really need to evaluate their lives ffs

"

Anyone who is excited by the coin needs to get a life

People who get outraged over a coin need more in their life to worry about if you ask me.

Just looking at people sing Auld Lang syne, fairy lights, british flags waving, photos of tatcher.

Leaving the EU doesnt mean the UK has to go back to the 70s, can stay in 2020.
