Agreed. Hundreds of channels absolutely full of repeats day in day out. I love this programme and hope it never ends.

I think it's great and gives a realistic insight into social change in the 60s

And Miranda hasn't been in it for years

Any of the antiques type shows, usually with Trumps distant orange cousin- David Dickinson...I think they're designed to make people forced to watch them in retirement homes, loose the will to live before the 'have you paid for your funeral?' adverts come on

I can understand playing it- nice walk out in the park and a stop off at the 19th...but watching it on telly?

I don't like that Miranda character, who seemed to have no comedy talent and then got shat onto broader mainstream TV. Ive seen minutes of the show and ran away from it

I love call the midwife , it's a wonderful program and they handle very serious issues with a gentle kindness

Boring television for me it would be love island , though I have never seen it , it just doesn't appeal to me

East Sussex

The original series of Call The Midwife which was based on the book was excellent in my opinion and the book was even better. As with all these things once they'd exhausted the original book it went off track, the characters were altered slightly and the plots became more suited to Sunday night telly. I still like it and watch it though. I'm fairly easy to please
