Isn't there some theory that as long as the first and last letter of any word is in place, the mind will place the others in order therefore even written incorrectly, you can understand it ?

Well Done ..... ...So do you think i needed to have the V in Observe , or did you just know what i meant to write because you saw the word 'look 'at the end , so you therefore in your inner mind took it for the word 'Observe ' .... ? what i'm trying to say his , your mind can take things in , but can also be tricked , thats why if you dont OBSERVE and read the whole text , you can get the wrong end of the stick .. And some very very clever peeps can get you to imagine 'by association that you have actually read and understood something ,which in fact you have not .... the mind can play tricks ...and so can peeps who wish to trick or seduce you ... you.......Be vrey cerufal out tehre..... (taths egounh 4 tdaoy i tinhk )..

It's not just a theory chick..... when we read (those who can proficiently) a lot of the time we don't read the actual words/letters, the brain finds it quicker to recognise shapes and then works out what the word should be... hence why it is easier to read lowercase type.

Which is why road signs are printed in lower case.

On a side note - surely this only works because we spend years and years reading things spelled properly so that we learn the word shapes. If we started off in life reading a whole bunch of jumbled letters (grouped per word, obviously) then I'm sure life would be a lot harder and we'd all read at the same speed as some of the cretins out there on the internet!
