What match are you looking forward to on the card

Women's Royal Rumble match (30 superstars over-the-to-rope)

Men's Royal Rumble match (30 superstars over-the-to-rope)

'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan (Singles match for WWE Championship)

Becky Lynch vs Asuka (Singles match for WWE Raw Women's Championship)

Roman Reigns vs King Corbin (falls count anywhere)

Shorty G vs Sheamus

Bayley vs Lacey Evans (Singles match for WWE Smackdown Women's Championship)

Andrade vs Humberto Carrillo (Singles match for WWE United States Championship)

Becky vs Asuka will be great. As will Wyatt vs Bryan. But the showstealer will be Andrade vs Humberto. Both Rumble matches should be fun as always.

The question is: what makes it Royal?

Needs a bloody haircut. And wrestling lessons.

Vince just liked that both words began with R.

"Jerry "The King" Lawler will be there"

He needs to retire ASAP. His act ran out of steam 15 years ago.

Hell no, he's a refreshing change from Graves and Cole

"Hell no, he's a refreshing change from Graves and Cole"

Both Cole and Lawler are awful. Graves has more talent in his little finger than those two combined. It's irrelevant anyway as Lawler commentates on Raw and Cole/Graves are on Smackdown.

I've been rewatching all the older rumbles in preparation. I'm (tragically) genuinely excited for this. It was always my favourite pay-per-view.

Hillside desolate

I still yearn for the Stone Cold days

But confess to liking Bray Wyatt, and I see Roman Reigns physical appeal too

Good man. I had the same plan too. Only ended up watching the 2010 Rumble. 1992 is my favourite though.

An absolute classic! I love the 1994 rumble - a bit hokey looking now, but the undertaker rising from his casket freaked out the young me

Ah yes. Shit year, but will always remember that casket match from my childhood. Classic moment.

If you want to watch man on man action, there are websites with that sort of thing for free.

Good event but the I thought the whole thing with Brock could have been booked better, I thought it was a boring start to the rumble.

Googled Edges entry. What a pop. He was my favourite! Hope he’s back for a bit may start watching it again.

That sounds like the old 'Legends' contracts WWE used to have.

Given the push he’s been getting recently, I couldn’t see beyond drew winning it ( got 6/1 at the bookies too ) ...... with Brock destroying the first half of the rumble, I thought that Cain vesaquez would of been a surprise entrant and sound of made sense winning for a big money match main event at mania ( cain was favourite at the bookies to win it outright ) .... heard a rumour that edge was coming back but didn’t think it was feasible with the neck surgery and didn’t think he needed the cash but I was proved wrong

Makes sense not to over use edge don't want him fucking his neck up even worse this time round and possibly ending up in a wheelchair

I really enjoyed it this year. That said, this could've been the worst Rumble ever and it'd still have been worth it for the sight of Brock dad dancing in the ring as MVP came in. Genuinely worth googling if you've not seen it. He moves EXACTLY like you'd expect. Brilliant stuff.

Brock gets alot of heat , but booked how he was last night, is how he should be booked , it's a shame he doesn't do more comedy like he used to with Kurt angle and the dancing last night
