Cheeseville, Somerset

Suck it up.

Avoid emla or at other cream.

The pain is worth it.

My sternum stung a fair bit but I survived.

I have never had pain relief the 25 times i been under the needle, however I want my nipple turning into love hearts so also wondering what would be the best pain relief, as i just could not stand that amount of pain

Tktx cream, put it on an hr or so before the session and wrap in clingfilm. Hopefully you wont feel a thing for the first hr or so

Think you'll find it more of a tickle than a pain.. and then the area will just go numb. Personally i find it a bit of thrill ride, do hope you enjoy it

That i can imagine would leave you with a strange tingle, maybe nice, maybe not. Amazing how different parts of the body feel whilst being punished by a needle.

Yehhhh I am not that into pain, I am normally ok with them, but I do not class pain as "nice"

Stingy hurts or thuddy hurts?

I like the sting, I use music and breathing when thudding over less bouncy bits

Don’t use numbing creams it can sometimes inflame the skin making it harder to get the ink in properly can lead to patchy lines

Don’t drink before

And take a book or magazine to read. Can help to take you’re mind off it.

I find headphones with music going to drown out the buzz of the machine, plenty of sugar in your system so you don’t crash and try relax and close your eyes try to ignore the fact your getting tattooed always seemed to work, and again stay away from numbing creams just makes the tattooists job harder

Try and breath through it. Inhale and exhale through the ouchy bits.

I took paracetamol half hour before then another two when I was 4 hours in.

Any tattoists I know will say not to use numbing cream. It can affect the tattoo.

Watch them create the masterpiece, it’s so amazing watching the you’re body being a canvas for a beautiful creation

I’m having a chest and stomach piece designed and I can’t wait to see that beauty being put on

In my experience with guys on the ribs your gonna feel it women seem to handle the rib area much better once had a lady sit for six and half hours on her ribs she only stopped for a smoke break

Yeah it inflames the skin which makes it harder to push the ink in and get clean crisp lines also colouring the fucker is even worse

"Yeah it inflames the skin which makes it harder to push the ink in and get clean crisp lines also colouring the fucker is even worse "

Only if someone has a reaction.

I was married to a tattooist for 8yrs, not many used creams but those that did, aslong as no reaction and cleaned off properly there was no problem.

I w only tried a numbing cream once, it didn't work so I resorted to wait I normally do. First 20 mins have an internal dialogue with myself about how I ended up in the chair again and attempt to not throw up over tattooist.

Following 2 hours and 45 mins smile and breathe and pull my hair at the nape of my neck for really ouchy moments, 3 hours in, attempt to not knee the tattooist in the face.. I'm good for 3 hours max. I know this , my tattoo guy knows this, when I'm done I'm done..

Likewise, no one goes anywhere near me with a needle unless it is for some very good medical reason....!!!

You don’t need pain relief!!

It’s all part of it... stay relaxed and if it feels too much ask for a break....

The pain is just part of it...for me... I focus on the end result..

Go you.

2 hours is my max; then I go home for some 'me' time.

Not one for orgasms on tatoo bench

Tktx numbing cream (yellow) is supposed to be unreal. Buy only direct from them though.
