What's the first thing you do to bring you back to normality, once you've been ill?

If I feel a cold coming I drink a lot of fresh OJ.

More often that not - it works for me.

99% will clear their previous status telling everyone of their ailment.

Vit C is a good boost to the immune system

I think the natural sugars help with energy too.

Depends on the illness. I've been bedbound a couple of times and too weak to stand for more than a minute or two so that first proper shower when you're better is bliss.

Oh god yes! Changing the bedding! Especially when you've had a fever.

I had proper flu a couple of years ago too and had no appetite for over a week. The first time I felt properly hungry it was amazing to have a proper meal again even if I couldn't finish it.

That's the only time I ever want chips. Something about their hot greasy blandness really appeals.

Manchester (she/her)

Definitely with the shower. A proper meal rather than eating like a toddler. Going outside.

Coffee is appealing again, go off it when I'm ill.

Shower, eat whatever takes my fancy and then get out for some fresh air.

A big takeaway as I stop eating when ill and then regret it.

Resetting my life is the priority to me. Washing clothes/bedding. Having a good shower and eating some balanced food.
