So I’m not feeling as flexible as I was. My physio keeps saying I need to try Yoga. It’s early days but I do think I can feel a little difference.

Any other a Yoga fans?

Ironically if anyone thinks archiving such moves is the point of yoga they severely misunderstand the concept

Hiding from twats

I used to do a lot of yoga, then I got dogs and they won't bloody well leave me alone. I do need to start practicing properly again though, I have zero flexibility now, a weak core and dodgy hips.

I went to a class once but my friend farted and I couldn't stop laughing and had to leave. I can't face going back

The word 'achieving' is sometimes misunderstood too

Maybe not severely though...

I genuinely was not sniping at your perfectly reasonable humourous post

Many however do not participate in our practice because of a misconception yoga is about impossible positions

I'm a Pilates person too. I go 3 or 4 times a week. It's made a huge difference to my flexibility and core strength.

I love yoga. On a good week I do 5 classes. Different teachers with various styles, some do try to get me in contortionist positions. Grasshopper on Sunday was a step too far.

I’m the one giggling at the back and failing miserably to hold the position.

Great for posture though. And I can almost kiss my own arse

I’ve got very poor hip flexibility so my physio tells me. I’m useless at sitting crossed legged. Is this just a man thing?

No, some people are, some aren't. I think it's your adductors (I could be wrong) practice though will bring results
