"I dont know the name of them, but you get them stocking things from the hospital to stop blood clots and keep circulation going. Would they help?" Oh possibly. Fuck I hated them. I didn’t wear them when I’d given birth. Wore them for the one day I was in hospital, once more when my midwife was over and that was it I was up and moving about so much I didn’t need to. But might be a shout

"Sorry men, a TMI topic So, I got my period during the night. I’m grumpy as fuck, and in agony. Blah blah blah. (I have endometritis). However - whenever I’m on my period, my legs go dead. It’s bloody agony. I can’t sleep at night (super fun when you have insomnia and a four month old baba) because they’re so sore. I used to get the pain for a few hours when on my period, but now I get the pain for a week before I’m on, and then throughout the whole time I’m on. So roughly two weeks. I was referred to rheumatology in 2018, (for my back as well) but it took a year for me to get an appointment and by the time I was seen, I was six months pregnant so they couldn’t really do anything. Was told to come back when I start getting periods again, but I need to be referred and yeah, that could take another year. Any tips for the pain? I’ve tried hot baths, warm baths, cold baths, hot water bottles, massages, keeping active, pretty much anything that I can think of. I’m gonna book a doctors appointment at some point, but it’s so sore that I can barely walk sometimes. " Get some to massage your legs.

It's not an instant fix (but then even meds aren't) and it's not cheap, but I had GREAT results for pain.

"Potassium is meant to be good for nightime leg cramps, or I read compression socks may help. Unsure how long you can keep them on for though. X" Or magnesium, I was just thinking similarly. See if those help. In general, heat and gentle stretching?

See if those help. In general, heat and gentle stretching?" I mentioned earlier about Magnesium. The spray, just before bed is really good. Sometimes take a good few days of use for it to take effect though

"It's horrible, that dead leg feeling and the pain that goes through the hips and down both legs. HRT has got rid of mine atm. But your way to young for that (I'm technically too young too) There's an endometriosis group on Facebook that can be handy if you ignore the bits that don't apply and just have a read through. Aside from that. I just wanted to say go you on the exclusively breast feeding. It's hard work but you sound like you're doing brilliant with it all and a natural mum. And I mean that in a completely non condescending patronising way. " Ah thank you

"How horrible for you hope you get it sorted I am on my period too, in pain and flitting between bouts of sheer rage, crying and then looking at baby Yoda pictures and crying again " Thank you! I was such a grumpy bitch. I only actually bled for a day and a half, but still have the cramps, back pain, sickness and dead legs.
