I have to walk from the car park to the x-ray lab sometimes, and I'll have a coffee and doughnut on the way. Does that help

Somewhere In The Ether…

Crunches.....lots of crunches.

Lower leg raises (whilst laying flat on the floor)

Leg pull ups (whilst hanging from a chinning bar)

Diet.....ahhhh - I’ve fallen foul here

to have visable abs your body fat needs to be lower than 9 %

you can do all the crunches you like but if your body fat is no down they will never show

After I gave birth my abs popped, had them for a good few years until laziness and take aways covered them up.

They say abs are built in the kitchen so it’s diet that’s the most important thing. Think a guy has to be around 12% body fat for abs to show.

I'm exercising a lot but finding it hard to balance my diet and exercise together so just looking to see how other people do it

Reduction in body fat plus muscle definition is the answer, and it's hard work.

You need to do the kind of exercise that pushes your body into burning fat, HIIT/fartlek is good for that

The exercise isn't a problem

Its the diet i'm struggling with, how much to eat and when and what to eat

I'm mainly in the office at the minute so 9 hours of sat down doing nothing isn't helping.

I've had to conceal my powerful abs for my own peice of mind

I found that wondering round Tesco's with my top off, would cause such a sensation and people would constantly ask are they real, can I touch them, can you come round when my husband/wife/ partner is out... just did my head in...also shopping was taking 3 hours plus for a pot noodle and some jelly beans ...

I eat lots of protein such as tuna, chicken and carbs as well with rice and pasta. I eat about 2700kcal. I also train 3 times a week doing a full body workout and I keep my cardio very high and I do it everyday, diet is 80% and workout is 20%

I can't do cardio in the gym, its just too boring. I do play squash twice a week though which is very intense.

I've been trying to eat more fish. I like makerel but it says its high in fat? But I think thats omega fat

There's so much conflicting advice about this .. little and often or 3 meals etc etc.

Low fat balanced diet. Cut out the crap. Every body is slightly different .. the key to knowing how your body best responds to diet is to cut the habititual over eating or sugary, snacky, junk, processed food elements. Once your system is clean, your exercise and clean diet combo will show.

You have a lovely shape already.

X

People normally bulk then shred, visceral fat is what’s on your mid section and it’s that that needs to come off for them to pop. You see really skinny guys with abs and they have them just because they’re skinny, they don’t do any training. Keto is good for fat loss.

How about a different gym? Like cross fit or some thing.. I've always hated cardio at the gym but am loving intervals and weight training and I'm certainly heading in the right direction.. I have abs now.. They just have a little insulation on the top.. But apparently that will go with diet and shed loads of water...
